Anne Lee

Anne is HR Manager at the Carr Group, she is a highly experienced Strategy and Human Resources Professional, with over 25 year’s experience primarily in the Hotel & Hospitality Industry and Services Sector.

Before joining the team, Anne worked as a self-employed HR consultant for 2 years and previously worked with the Irish Hotels Federation for 19 years in a number of roles including Company Secretary, Manager of Strategic Issues and Employment Services Manager.

Anne has worked very closely with Failte Ireland on the development of Training and ongoing Professional Development Programmes, the development of a new Classification system for the hotel sector, the marketing of the sector to students through the commencement of the “Get a Life in Tourism” Magazine, on career fairs and talks, the recruitment of employees for the sector and the development of a Cultural Diversity strategy and implementation plan for the industry. She has worked with various Government Departments on a number of issues including the updating of the work permit system, recruitment overseas, and as part of the Tourism Policy Review Group. She sat on the JLC Committee for Hotels setting minimum wages and other employment terms and conditions for hotel employees.

Anne is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned to the business strategy and for providing HR advice and support to all units as well as identifying and providing staff training and career support to all employees.

Anne Holds a B. Sc. Mgt. from Trinity and a Higher Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management and an MBS from the Smurfit School at UCD in HR Management and Industrial Relations. She is a Member of CIPD.
