Originally built by Edmund Hanbury in 1890 as a private residence, the property spent 60 years as a convent and boarding school before it was opened in 1990 as a stunning five-star hotel. Guests may take afternoon tea in the baronial Oak Hall, enjoy a drink in the cocktail bar or sample a range of delicious cuisine in either of the restaurants. The French-inspired Zodiac Restaurant serves imaginative cuisine in an elegant surrounding while the Oakes Grill & Bar, overlooking the golf course and grounds, offers a more relaxed dining experience.
