The Hotel Alfonso XIII, named after the famous king who commissioned it in 1928 and with all the luxury of a palace, was designed to be Europe's most luxurious hotel and is situated among the arches and arabesques of the historic city center of Seville. The hotel's central courtyard is decorated in Moorish style with wrought iron balconies, hanging plants and hand painted tiles while the lobby is decorated with priceless tapestries and Iberian antiques. Situated close to many places of cultural interest such as the Seville Cathedral, the Plaza de Espa?a and the Alcazar, the hotel is ideally located to explore the treasures of the city.
Built to house the heads of state and high-ranking guests of the 1929 Great Ibero-American Exhibition, Hotel Alfonso XIII continues a tradition of luxurious accommodations and impeccable service.
