Review
Located at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, this converted flour mill has been transformed into a beautifully decorated country hotel offering all the services of a luxury hotel. The surrounding countryside and the nearby Mediterranean offer spectacular views that can be enjoyed from either of the two outdoor terraced areas while dining on sumptuous Andaluc?an cuisine served at the hotel's very own restaurant. The hotel has a very homely, warm atmosphere and the owners, Anna and Robert Fischel, have furnished the halls and rooms with family heirlooms and Spanish antiques.

The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. There are many areas where guests can sit and relax such as the luxurious Salon decorated with a huge ornate French mirror and console. The hotel's extensive garden is filled with exotic flowers, vegetables and fruits. Bananas, pomegranates, peaches, tomatoes, avocados, lemons and oranges are all grown on site to name but a few of the wonderful selection of produce that the garden yields.

Located just 45 minutes from the Golden Golf Triangle of Sotogrande, El Molino is ideally situated for golfers who want to play some of the top golf courses in Europe. The beaches of Estepona are just 5 minutes away where a variety of water sports can be enjoyed. Estepona town is charming, typically Spanish and has remained unspoiled by tourism. You can enjoy walking along the maze of winding calles, past old churches and pretty houses decorated with pots of geraniums. In the old town you will come across many traditional tapas bars and bodegas where you can sample the local cuisine and wine. For entertainment, there is a bull ring and also Flamenco dancing is commonly seen during the summer months. If you prefer to do some shopping, Estepona has a varied range of shops from typical tourist shops to designer stores and has two local market days one on a Wednesday which is the bigger of the two and the other on a Sunday, selling everything you can imagine from fresh fruit and vegetables to exotic spices from around the world. An excellent choice of wines is available and lots of other local produce along with all the traders selling clothes, Moroccan carpets and arts and crafts.
