Surrounded by subtropical gardens and situated 5 Km from the town centre of Marbella in a prestigious area of the Costa del Sol, Los Monteros is the pioneer of luxury in Marbella. A recent $3.5 million renovation, in honour of the hotel's fortieth anniversary, provided luxurious amenities and new decor to most of the 181 guest rooms, junior suites, and suites. Each of the rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, electronic safe and a balcony or terrace to enjoy the marvelous views of the sea and beach. For pure relaxation or to help you wind down after a day spent golfing, upgraded spa suites now offer private steam baths, pressure showers, and whirlpool bathtubs. In addition, eight brand new spa suites with private gardens debuted in late September 2002.
The property's palm trees and other subtropical plantings surround a man-made lake filled with exotic fish and turtles.
