Located just off the N-340, on the eastern side of Marbella, Santa Clara Golf Club is a new 18 hole par 71 course of 6,428 yards from the professional tees. Created by Enrique Canales the course is set in a private 360 acre estate which offers breathtaking panoramic views towards the mountains and sea The course is mainly flat, though the eighth rises steeply to the highest point - the 9th, a par five looking down to the Mediterranean.
Santa Clara has large greens and long par threes. The front nine has two par threes, six par fours and one par five. The longer back nine has two par threes, five par fours and two par fives. Water comes into play on many holes and there are bunkers protecting most of the greens. The 58th Annual Spanish Professional Championship in June 2003 was hosted here, quite an honour for a new course and indicative of the quality and prestige Santa Clara has been able to achieve in a short time.
Santa Clara Golf has excellent practice facilities and a spectacular clubhouse with views over the course to the Mediterranean. Situated in one of the most exclusive areas of Marbella, it is set to become one of the finest Golf Courses on the Costa del Sol. Course facilities include a Pro Shop offering a wide variety of merchandise, buggy and club hire, a driving range, a putting green and classes for both individuals and groups.

Take N-340 between Malaga and Cadiz and exit at km. 185. Coming from Malaga but before arriving in Marbella take the deviation towards Playa de los Monteros. It is approximately 50 km. west of Malaga.
