Monforte is a little pearl among the vineyards, Turin home of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games is a city bristling with culture and art. Orta Lake is a real jewel where you can spend a romantic stay while enjoying the wine, the Spa facilities and unbeatable fashion shopping.ProgrammeDay 1- ArrivalArrival at Monforte d’Alba, a typical village in the heart of the Langhe, famous for it’s good food and wine. Check into the excellent and refined Relais Monforte (4****). You will enjoy a welcome drink and your representative will outline the week’s programme to you. Option of dinner at the “Collina” Restaurant, a very charming and modern restaurant in the central square of Monforte. Overnight in the hotel. Day 2– Monforte d’Alba – Cuneo – Monforte d’Alba – GOLF DAYBreakfast buffet and transfer (20 minutes) to the GOLF CLUB PLEIN VERT in Cuneo, a lovely town situated at the foot of the mountains. Buffet lunch at the Golf Club. For the non-golfers, transfer to Mondově to visit the outlet store “Mondovicino” (offering prestigious labels and names of the Italian fashion). Lunch in the store restaurant. Transfer of the golfers and non-golfers to the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight. Day 3– Monforte d’Alba – Alba – Turin – EXCURSION DAYAfter breakfast, panoramic tour through the beautiful and relaxing hills of the Langhe. Arrival at Alba, the town of the 100 towers and famous for it’s prestigious truffle. Walk through the historical centre with it’s traditional shops offering local products. Visit the International Exhibition of white truffle of Alba in “Palatartufo” and chance to do some shopping in the smart stores and shops. Lunch in a typical “wine bar” and transfer to Turin, a beautiful city that hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 2006. A short walk will take you to the “Quadrilatero”, the “trendy” area full of restaurants, bars and night life. Overnight in hotel. Day 4– Turin – GOLF DAYFor the golf players, transfer to the Golf Club La Margherita. For the non-golfers there is a free day, with the possibility of attending a leading Spa is available. In the late afternoon, aperitivo/drink in a typical bar in the centre, dinner in a restaurant on the Po river. Night tour of “Magic Turin” with a guide and overnight in hotel. Day 5– Turin – Orta Lake – EXCURSION DAYBreakfast buffet. Transfer to Orta Lake. Welcome and accommodation in the beautiful Hotel San Rocco (4****). Free time for a walk at the lake. Option of dinner in hotel or on the boat. Overnight. Day 6– Orta Lake – GOLF DAYAfter breakfast, departure for the Golf Club Bogogno or Castelconturbia. Overnight.
