World Invitational Father & Son – 13 – 17 August 2008, Waterville, County Kerry -
This annual event will take place on the spectacular Waterville Golf Links, regarded as one of the world’s great golf courses, set in a magnificent location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The event is the centrepiece of the Carr Group calendar. A special tournament where friendships are made and renewed.
- World Invitational Father & Daughter at Doonbeg - 27th – 30th July 2008
- The inaugural Father & Daughter Golf Tournament will take place in Doonbeg Golf Club from the 27th to the 30th of July 2008. The event is set to become a regular feature in our annual golf calendar and will be hosted in one of the finest golf resorts in the world. - Sawgrass International Championship - September 10 – 14 2008
- Play Tournament Golf on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, home of THE PLAYERS Championship known as the fifth major and one of the finest golf resorts in the US. The Sawgrass Golf Tournament will take place from Sept 10 – 14 2008 and places are strictly limited
- 2008 Ryder Cup Matches – Valhalla Golf Club Kentucky. September 16th – 21st 2008
- Following a hugely successful Ryder Cup at the K Club last year, Carr Golf Travel are offering a variety of corporate hospitality and standard ticket packages for the 2008 Ryder Cup matches at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville Kentucky.
- Joe Carr Hall of Fame Induction – 12 November, 2007
- Joe Carr is the first Irish player to enter golf's Hall of Fame, with none other than Jack Nicklaus introducing the Sutton maestro to the crowd at St Augustine, Florida. How fitting it was that this, the ultimate golfing accolade, should have come on American soil, for no nation other than his own took Joe Carr more to its heart.
