chauffeurdrive.jpgGolfers from around the globe know all about the merits of Irish golf and many have sampled the truly unique experience of playing the world’s finest golf courses, staying in charming hotels, castles and guesthouses along the way. The travelling element of a trip to Ireland can often be as enjoyable as the actual golf, given the breathtaking nature of the Irish coastline and scenery in general.

And when it comes to transport, the sky is quite literally the limit when you choose Carr Golf Travel. From self-drive to chauffeur-drive and helicopters to private jets, Carr Golf Travel is your ideal partner. Transportation can make the difference between a good trip and an excellent trip. Elements such as luggage space, leg-room, safety and distance of journey must all be considered. We understand the transport-related requirements of visiting golfers and are happy to make all the necessary arrangements, no matter how big or small.

Carr Golf Travel Drivers

An added benefit of using a Carr Golf Travel coach is that they are driven by our team of experienced, uniformed and fully qualified drivers. The driver will meet you at the airport and immediately escort you to your hotel for a rest or even to the first tee if you are feeling more energetic. He will then accompany you throughout the trip, ensuring that you arrive at the golf course in good time, answering any questions you may have along the way. So all you need to focus on is your game!

Heli-Golf

While our coaches are an ideal option for most golfers and the sights by road are breathtaking, the vista by air gives a totally different yet equally stunning perspective. There are also times when travelling by road does not allow the avid golfer to realise their dream trip. The age-old problem has always been: "so many great golf courses but not enough time". The option of helicopter transportation, or "Heli-Golf", makes the otherwise logistically impossible, distinctly possible. Who hasn’t dreamt of playing 18 holes at Ballybunion in the morning followed by 18 holes at Royal County Down in the afternoon? Well, that is exactly the kind of thing that Heli-Golf facilitates.

Though our clients may choose to fly each day of their trip, the beauty of Heli-Golf in Ireland lies in the fact that the helicopter option need not be used every day. Our clients can also choose road transportation for some of the trip and fly only on the logistically difficult days. Carr Golf Travel can get you to those far flung courses in remote coastal areas. By using a chopper you will be able to squeeze in even more great golf experiences as well as enjoying stunning scenery as you arrive and depart from the world’s finest Links courses.
